Unluckiness

Oh, luck. I think I must have been a dictator in a past life because for some reason I am being punished this month. Two weeks ago I had my front right tire literally explode and my back left one went flat. Both had to be replaced and I had to be towed to Les Schwab. A week ago I accidentally parked in front of a fire hydrant and was gone for an hour. It was dark and rainy out so I couldnt see the hydrant and there were no markings on the curb. When I came back, my car had been impounded. I had to pay to get it out of the impound, and for the towing service, AND got a $150 ticket. Now, to top all that off, I was driving in rush hour traffic yesterday when my car died. No sputtering, smoke or anything. I shifted gears and it just gave up the ghost. Eventually I was able to push it to the side of the road in the rain when someone blocked off the other lane for me. I sat there in the cold for two hours before a tow truck came and towed my (again) to Les Schwab. He wouldnt add the mileage to take me to my house on the bill so I walked home with my gymbag, laptop and backpack in the pouring rain. Now my car is sitting at Les Schwab and when I find a way to get home (the MAX doesnt run by my house) I have to walk to LS to drop off my keys so they can find out if they know what the problem is. If they cant, I then have to have it towed somewhere ELSE so that they can see if they can find the problem. Argh. So frustrating.
