Robert and I decided to try our green thumbs and get some plants for the deck. He chose four violas (two in purple, one in yellow and one in orange) and I chose a dark purple calla lily. I got a planter that had a bow crafted into it; it's super cute. We got them from Home Depot and now they're living on our deck. I'm very excited to have some plants out there, and Robert suggested that we get deck chairs to sit outside and read during the summer months. We've got a nice view of the mountains and trees, so we won't be staring into people's homes at all. Here are a few pictures from our Sunday green-thumb day:
