Easter Basket

Kelsey gave me an Easter Basket at work. How cute is that? I havent had an Easter basket before. At our casa growing up we had a lot of fun finding all the eggs and candy that my Mom would hide around the house but we never did personal baskets per se. It was a lot of fun growing up, but of course theres no one to hide candy at my apt now so this was a cute little Easter surprise when I came into work. I think that it was really thoughtful of her to do that!

This picture below is one that my Mom sent me of a present she received in the mail when I texted her a pic of Kelsey's basket. How adorable is that? The note that was attached said "Heres hopping you have a beary eggcellent Easter!"

Summer Plans

I am really looking forward to this summer! I have a lot of things coming up, including a lot of traveling.

Travel plans:

Utah: June 18th-22nd [with Mom]
Las Vegas: July 8th-11th [for Katy's birthday. We are going to party it up!]
NYC: July 21st-28th [with Kelsey, Caitlin and Horizon]

Events:

Kurt's wedding: June 24th
Britney Spears Concert: June 28th

Plus I can't wait to lay out by my pool and tan and read. That's probably one of my favorite activities in the world. Plus there are beach trips in my future as well. :)

High Weight

I weighed myself this morning. Eek! It's the most that I've ever been before, which I hate. I am working out hardcore with Kelsey. We went to 24HR last night and did an hour of cardio and then we are going again tonight. My goal is to go a minimum of 5 days per week. We are mixing up our routine with cardio, light weights and then abs as well. When I work out on my own I just do cardio so this will better for tonight and for all around workouts.

Our New York trip is July 21st-28th so that's three months (and 3 days) away. That's the perfect amount of time to make a noticeable dent. And Caitlin, Kelsey and I (who are all going) are gym-ing it up to get in shape. My overall goal is to lose 46 lbs, though that wont happen by NYC.

H&M Shorts

I am so looking forward to summer! I am such a sun baby so I can't wait to lay out by my pool. I was at H&M the other day with Katy and Kelsey and saw these shorts. I had to have them because of the color and for only $12.95 you can't go wrong.

They are a smiiiidge tight but I am using that as one of my (many) reasons to slim down for the summer. I am counting down the days until the pool opens. I am going to throw a pool party when it's sunny out!
