Well, we finally did it: we went to a Timbers game. Robert's friend Angelina was in from out of town, and we all went for the first time. I didn't know how much fun it would be, but ended up loving it! What a blast! People get really into it, with specific chants for certain things happening. It also didn't hurt that we ended up winning 2-0, so cheering for the goals was great.
Beforehand we went and got Timbers regalia. I had a shirt and scarf, and Robert had a shirt, scarf and socks. Angelina got a headband and shirt, so we were all decked out. Afterward we grabbed dessert at McMenamins, which was a nice ending to the night. I definitely want to go back for another game.
